Mountain Lakes takes pride in serving the community. Each team member is involved in a local business association and we each hold dear a local cause. We are devoted to aiding local non‐profits/charities that give back to the individuals within Cherokee County.

Jeff Nevison is a co‐founder of Woodstock Christian Business Network. The group aims to connect Christians in Business and equip them to engage in workplace ministry by providing guidance and support, promoting biblical principles, and creating opportunities for spiritual and business growth. They meet every Wednesday at First Baptist Church Woodstock starting at 7:30 am. Learn more here.

Mallory Britt is a board member on ‘IN WDSTK’. This organization aims to connect all parts of the community. It brings together networking, education, and volunteer opportunities. Check out their event calendar to see where you can plug in.

Reid Miegel is on the chairman’s council with the Cherokee Chamber. The Chamber provides a forum for businesses of all sizes and types. Their mission is to promote business and the community while expanding the economy and enhancing the quality of life.

Next Step Ministries serves families in Cherokee, Cobb and Fulton counties. They provide safe, appropriate and interactive day programs for individuals with unique needs in a Christian environment.

Serenade Heights is a supportive transitional housing alternative for single mother families designed to service Cherokee County, Georgia and surrounding areas by offering safe transitional housing for a single mother to live while she is being coached and mentored.
