Parade: Kick off the holiday season with our traditional Christmas Jubilee Parade of Lights at 5:30 pm. The new route will start and end at Woodstock Elementary School traveling south on Rope Mill Road continuing on Main Street; It will turn right on to Towne Lake Parkway until Mill Street and take a left. It will follow Mill Street to Market Street and take a right. The route will then travel down Market Street to Fowler Street and turn left to Main Street. At Main Street, the parade will turn left and follow Main Street back to Road Mill Road ending back at Woodstock Elementary School. Parade Route Map
Race: Join the 2nd Annual Woodstock Christmas Run just before the parade, for more information visit www.WoodstockChristmasRun.com or www.active.com for registration.
Festival: Bring your children after the parade to The Park at City Center (101 Arnold Mill Rd.) to visit Santa with their wish lists. Our Mayor and Santa will flip the switch to light The Park and Christmas tree! They will announce the winners of the Best Holiday Float and Most Original Float. Music by Ronnie the DJ! Free moonwalk by Colby Family Chiropractic! Enjoy our free marshmallow roast in the park and help the Woodstock Jaycees Christmas Toy Drive! We will be accepting monetary donations or you can bring any new, unwrapped toy! Preservation Woodstock awards its Citizen of the Year! Lots of food and special holiday vendors!
Movies in the Park: Starts at 7:30 pm, sponsored by Northside Hospital – Cherokee and Southern Outdoor Cinema. Movie titles to be announced soon.
Theater: The Elm Street Theater will present for the community, the play “A Christmas Carol” at 2:00 pm. Free admission; please bring a non-perishable food donation for the local food pantries. See www.ElmStreetArts.org for more exciting details! Located at 8534 Main St. at Towne Lake Parkway.
