Our Story

Mountain Lakes Insurance opened its doors in 2009 with a calling to create our own brand of customer service and experience. Our vision is to be the most valued and respected insurance agency in our community, achieved by providing trustworthy advice, reliable service, professionalism, and friendliness to everyone we meet. We go beyond the basics and engage with our clients and community on a personal level. Our incredible team of agents has over 45 years combined experience and we provide highly rated carriers that offer our clients the best coverage protection and claims service.

Jeff Nevison

Managing Member

Jeff Nevison is one of our owners and the Managing Member. He’s been an insurance agency owner for over 20 years and a resident of Woodstock for over 22 years.When he’s
not working you can find him hiking, leading Woodstock Christian Business Network, or serving
others in our community.

Mallory Britt

Manager of Marketing and Brand Development

Mallory Britt is our manager of Marketing and Brand Development. She’s a licensed agent who’s worked in insurance for 13 years servicing personal lines. Proud native of Woodstock, she’s watched the city grow into the thriving community it is today. When she’s not working, you can probably find her flipping thrift store finds.

Reid Miegel

Executive Account Manager, Commercial Lines

Reid Miegel is our Commercial Lines manager. He has been a licensed agent since 2007. He is an Atlanta native, attended North Georgia College, and is a former Army aviation officer. In his free time, Reid enjoys spending time with family, exercising, and classic cars.

Jennifer Smith

Licensed Agent- Personal Lines Account Manager

Jennifer Smith is Massachusetts native but has lived in Georgia for 25 years. When not working she spends time with her dog and enjoying the outdoors.
